Training
We offer a wide range of training programmes spanning therapy, clinical supervision and leadership development. We specialise in anti-discriminatory practice, with training primarily shaped around the protected characteristics outlined in the Equality Act 2010 and how these influence workplace culture, relationships and service delivery.
We also design bespoke training tailored to your organisation's needs, including workplace dynamics, team challenges, rupture repair, responses to crises within teams and much more.

Let's Talk About Race & Racism In Therapeutic Practice
This full day training provides an honest, open and reflective space for those in therapeutic professions to think about the impact Race & Racism has on the therapeutic alliance.
Using theory and experiential activities alongside qualitative and quantitative data, we explore why Race cannot be ignored in therapy. We dissect the term 'I Don't See Colour' and other racist microaggressions while pulling on lived experience of both our facilitators and those in the training to think about why therapists' must include Race and an understanding of Racism as trauma in their therapeutic work.
Let's Talk About Race & Racism in Supervisory Practice
This full day training provides an honest, open and reflective space for clinical supervisors to think about the impact Race & Racism has on the supervisory alliance.
We explore how to talk about experiences of Racist abuse between clients and therapists as well as how to tackle racist microaggressions within supervision.
Using theory and experiential activities alongside qualitative and quantitative data, we explore why Race cannot be ignored in supervision and why it is the role of the supervisor to introduce these topics from the outset.
Let's Talk About Race & Racism in Leadership
This full-day training provides leaders with an honest, open and reflective space to explore the impact of race and racism within teams, organisations and workplace culture.
Through theory, experiential activities, and qualitative and quantitative data, we examine how race and racism influence recruitment, progression, retention, psychological safety and employee wellbeing. We explore why taking a race-conscious approach to leadership is not optional and how overlooking these issues can perpetuate inequity and damage trust within teams.
The training considers the role of strong, courageous leadership in addressing racial inequities, recognising and responding to racial harm and microaggressions, and navigating difficult conversations when ruptures occur. Participants will also reflect on why a top-down approach is essential, with leaders taking responsibility for setting the tone, modelling inclusive behaviours and embedding anti-racist practices across their organisations.
The aim is to equip leaders with the confidence, awareness and practical tools to foster psychologically safe, equitable and inclusive workplaces where conversations about race are approached with curiosity, compassion and accountability.

"Janeen encouraged us to reframe Racial abuse as a Safeguarding issue in institutional contexts. The duty of care therapists have to be forthcoming about racial differences to facilitate the discussion when/if it comes up in therapy is so important."
NHS Leadership Trainee
"I now feel less scared about getting things wrong and feel more certain that it is the responsibility of those in positions of rpower to introduce and open up a space to be able to discuss issues such as race and racism.
Reading University Trainee
"Janeen is amazing. She has great insight and is passionate about the subject matter. I started off the day not liking the term 'White Privilege' but now I understand what it means and I plan on doing something about it."
